

MLK Peace march
On January 18 Project Level joined United Playaz on their MLK Day Peace March. We Started marching at the City Hall in San Francisco and ended at the MLK fountain at Yerba Buena. Over 250 people marched that day including organizations such as CityEats, LocoBloco, Zulu, City Cross Roads, etc. As MLK once said, "Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter. "

Lefty O'Douls Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge, Toy holiday giveaway
This Christmas Eve, Project Level had the pleasure to once again give away toys to kids at Lefty O'Douls Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge. The students first enjoyed a great breakfast compliments to Lee! Then they had the chance to sing just about every Christmas song there is. While everyone was Christmas Caroling, our President Chloe Young talked about Project Level and was even being interviewed on KRON CH 4 News

AAACC’s 15th annual Holiday Fair
This year like many years before Project Level attended and performed at the AAACC’s 15th annual Holiday Fair December 12, 2015. The holiday fair is the largest and largest and longest running holiday gathering of its kind in SF Fillmore District. There were performances by: Project Level, Village Dancers, Talent Allstars, PUSH, Dance company, Larkin Bukido Karate, and others. There were also Carnival Games, Fun Gmes, toy giveaways, and Food.

93rd Annual Freedom Fund Gala and Award Dinner
This year Project Level was invited to the 93rd annual Freedom Fund Gala and Award Dinner. The event was December 12th at the SF Marriott Marquis Hotel. Project Level had the opportunity to listen to many influential people such as Roland Martin who is the host and managing editor of TV One’s NewsOne Now, the first daily morning news program in history to focus on news and analysis of politics, entertainment, sports, and culture from an explicitly African American perspective
